A princess necklace is 45 centimetres (18 in) to 50 centimetres (20 in) long. It is between choker and matinee length.
The princess is the most common necklace style. It has an easy, rounded shape and is made to rest over your collarbone. The princess necklace will look best with the following necklines.
Y-Drop Style Bridal Necklaces
This style has two components, the necklace which forms the top of the "Y" and the drop, which forms the bottom of the "Y". The necklace has a slight "V" shape and is made to rest over your collarbone. This style necklace will look best with the following necklines.
This style was first popularized by 1920s' flappers. It has no clasp so you simply loop it around your neck and let the ends drape down in the front or back depending on your dress style.
