Wedding Headpiece

Backband
A straight barrette or band that fastens to the back of the head, with the veil attached; similar to a backpiece.
Bunkeeper or a Bunwrap
Is a circular band or a piece of fabric that wraps or encircles a bun, updo or upswept hairstyle. The bunkeeper may be embellished with flowers, beads or jewels. A veil may be attached.
Comb
A decorated hairpiece to secured the hair, by means of comb teeth. A veil may be attached. Most effectively worn with a bun or updo hairstyle.
Crown
A crown is a full circular frame headpiece that sits on the top of your head and is adorned with stones, gems or beads. A crown is worn on top of the head. May be worn with or without a veil.

Half Crown
A half crown is a half circule frame headpiece that sits on the top of your head. It's a set in metal and decorated with jewels. Usually greater in height than a tiara.
Half Wreath
It's a band or half-circle of silk, real flowers, greenery, twigs or foliage that is secured to the top of the head. That give you a natural and romantic looking. Is appropriate for less formal or garden weddings.
Headband
A headband is a half circle band of fabric that worn on the thop of the head or extends from one temple to the other. This can be trimmed or decorated, and is often made of satin, lace, or any fabric to match your dress.
Juliet Cap
Is small and round cap which fits snugly on top of the head. It fits at the crown of your head and can be accented with pearls, beading or stones. You can wear a Juliet cap alone or attach your veil to it. The modern version of a Juliet Cap may be a wide band that secures to the crown of the head.

A snood is Knitted or openwork net which encases a bun at the back of your head and can be made from a variety of fabrics and embellishments. You can attach a veil to the bottom of this headpiece or attached to a hat and normally used by long hair.
Tapered Headband
A half circle band is a wider middle and thinner or tapered ends that may be worn on top of the head or across the forehead and can be made from a variety of fabrics and embellishments.
Backpiece
A barrette or comb that fastens to the back of the head to which a veil is attached. The backpiece may be embellished with flowers, beads or bows.
Tiara
Tiara is jeweled or beaded semi-circle band secured to the top of the head. It's a popular headpiece for brides who wants to feel like a princess.
